Lightoras is an independent brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other company, brand, or entity that may use a similar name or operate in a related product category. We do not claim any such relationship, and we do not present ourselves as representing anyone other than Lightoras.
We design and sell home lighting and decorative pieces: chandeliers, table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, and decorative mirrors. These are the categories we work in, and they are the only categories we sell. We are not a general home goods store, and we do not resell products from other brands under the Lightoras name.
The reason we started Lightoras came from a frustration that kept coming up when we were furnishing our own spaces. Shopping for a chandelier or a floor lamp online usually meant choosing between two unsatisfying options. On one side were mass-produced pieces that looked identical to fixtures in thousands of other homes, often with listings that reused the same stock photos and vague descriptions. On the other side were designer showroom pieces with prices that felt disconnected from what the product actually was. There was very little in between: lighting that looked considered in a normal living room, was described honestly, and did not require a design degree or a second mortgage to buy.
We also noticed that decorative mirrors were usually sold separately from lighting, even though they serve the same purpose in a room—shaping how light moves and how a space feels. That is why we carry mirrors alongside our lamps and fixtures. The categories belong together in practice, so we put them together in our catalog.
So we built Lightoras around a narrow idea. Pick a small number of categories—chandeliers, table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, and decorative mirrors—and do them properly. Write product descriptions that tell you the dimensions, the materials, the bulb requirements, and the installation expectations without filler. Photograph the products as they actually look. Keep the buying process simple. And stand behind the sale with a return policy that does not require arguing with anyone.
We are based in Easton, Pennsylvania. Our team handles order processing, customer support, and returns from our Easton location. We work with logistics partners to move packages from our facility to your door, but the people answering your emails are Lightoras employees, not an outsourced call center.
We are a small operation. That means we cannot always respond within five minutes, but it also means the person who reads your return request is the same person who can actually do something about it. We are not trying to be the biggest lighting brand. We are trying to be a brand that gets the basics right: honest product descriptions, clear shipping timelines, and a return process that works.
